Alesana has posted one of many video updates from the recording of their third full length album, The Emptiness. The video includes band rehearsals of various songs on the new record as well as a 30 second clip of one of the new songs. Check out video 1 here and check back Tuesday for the second video update.

Sugarcult returns to Anaheim, CA for their annual Christmas show at the House of Blues on Thursday, December 17th. They will be headlining the show with support from Call The Cops, Prima Donna and Venus Infers. Tickets for the show are $20 and are on sale now at Ticketmaster andThe House of Blues. Fans are also encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to the Toys For Tots booth at the show. The Toys will be given to children in need for the holidays.

Every Avenue has just announced that they will be the second act on the 2010 AP Tour with The Summer Set opening for the tour. The remaining 3 bands on the tour will be announced on December 7, 14 and 21. The full list of tour dates will be posted December 21st and pre-sale tickets will be available starting January 11th. Every Avenue will also be doing a live announcement chat this Wednesday, December 2nd at 6pm EST on the AP Modlife page.

Artist Vs Poet's brand new EP, Damn Rough Night, is now available at MerchNow and SmartPunk. The band will be selling the EP while on the Cheap Date Tour with Forever The Sickest Kids, Sing It Loud and My Favorite Highway, so be sure to check their tour dates to see where they're playing next. The EP will also be released on iTunes on December 15th.

The Word Alive has just wrapped up their tour with Silverstein, Madina Lake, I See Stars & Closure in Moscow. While out on the road, the band filmed a two-part tour video. The first video can be seen here and the second part will be posted next week.

blessthefall has posted the 5th update video from the 2009 Atticus Tour. The band will post another tour video next Wednesday before the tour ends on November 19th.
